Maria Giannousi graduated from the Department of Interior Design, Architecture and Object Designing of the School of Graphic Arts & Artistic Studies of the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) in Athens in 2008. She completed her MA in “Design and Art Direction” in Manchester Metropolitan University, UK in 2009.
Since 2010 she runs her own office in Trikala concentrating on the design and construction of interior/exterior spaces and renovations in order to satisfy the user’s modern needs. The main goal is to design spaces that combine functionality and aesthetics. The projects that she deals with include private residences, workspaces, furniture and lighting design. By using clean lines and forms, symmetry, light, neutral colour palettes and natural materials as design tools she achieves a unique result.
